Watercolor prints are hot for windows and walls!

One thing I’ve noticed when flipping through new fabric books this year is that watercolor prints are hot, hot, HOT!  Every line has them in a variety of textures—from fine linen to velvet; weights—sheer to upholstery; color intensities—delicate pastels to bold brights; and patterns—geometric and abstract to impressionistic and whimsical.  They’re all beautiful in their own right, for sure.

However, one collection just knocked my socks off.

Watercolor Impressionist Fabric & Wallcovering

The “Black Edition” of The Romo Group fabrics has exclusive prints from a variety of designers, and the “Desire by Jessica Zoob” collection is simply amazing.  An abstract painter, Jessica Zoob created a collection of  fine linens, accessories and wall coverings that are truly tremdous.   The 118″ wide full-length abstract floral pattern “Breathe” gradates from a soft linen to beautiful watercolor-esque flowers for a print that would make gorgeous window panels.  The same pattern is available in a wall covering for a large scale, dramatic room.  Stunning pillows are also a part of this collection to round out a soft, yet invigorating, visual space.
