Gina McMurtrey is an award-winning Interior Designer in the Springfield, MO area. Her most recent accomplishments include receiving two awards from 417 Magazine’s “Interior Design of the Year 2012″ in the Kitchen: Remodel and Home Office Categories. In 2009 — as a designer for Nancy Rose, Inc. — she won the 417 Magazine’s “Interior Design of the Year Award” in the Dining Room Category, and was a Designer Finalist in the categories of “Kitchen” and “Family Room” the same year.
Gina McMurtrey Interiors LLC is also the only designer in Missouri and much of the Midwest to offer the innovative and affordable eDECORATING service..an online, package-style interior design plan with the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) homeowner in mind. Gina attended Missouri State University in Interior Design and spent several years working in a luxury bedding & bath boutique as a designer and assistant store manager before starting Gina McMurtrey Interiors.
While keeping current on and using all styles for her design clients, her favorite style is livable contemporary…utilizing clean lines and natural colors in a warm, comfortable setting. Gina also has a degree from MSU in Marketing/Advertising. She and her husband, Shannon, were very hands-on in the building of their home, which afforded many valuable learning opportunities and insight into home construction. This has given Gina a love of structural remodels and space planning.
She and Shannon have two sons and enjoy gardening, traveling, and their quiet, country home.
