Spring Cleaning Tip: Down Pillows & Comforters

On a hot, sunny day, take the opportunity to freshen down pillows and comforters.  Hang them over deck railing and bat them free of winter dust and let them soak up the sun for a couple of hours.  The heat of the sun will help disinfect the down, and you’ll benefit from the fresh scent.  Spray with a light mist of linen spray before putting them back on your bed.
