Take advantage of floor sample sales at furniture stores!  If you are flexible on a few nicks & scratches, you can creatively locate or accessorize these floor example pieces for a great savings.  One example:  Our local Haverty’s Furniture Store has floor sample rugs on sale from 15-40% off, plus an additional 10% off for a limited time.  These are large scale rugs, friends–8’x10′ in some cases for less than $500!  Rugs are a great grounding point to any room so this is an incredible deal!  Touch-up pens and even some furniture polish brands offer modest repair or concealment to flaws.
