2014 Color of the Year: Radiant Orchid

Pantone Color Institute®,  the world authority on color and color forecasting, announced today the 2014 Color of the Year:  Radiant Orchid.

This soft, peaceful color is “…an enchanting harmony of fuschia, purple and pink undertones,” as described by Pantone® in their press release.

It’s been several years since a color in the purple family has been chosen for the color of the year.  Plus, after several years of vibrant, jewel tones and saturated hues, Radiant Orchid brings out a refreshingly calm vibe.
