Every home can be beautiful, regardless of size or budget.

Interior designers can be such snobs.  Not all of them (or us…), of course, but there are certainly those out there that contend that there is no way a space can be stunning unless it has this or does not have that.

Maybe it’s my middle America farm-town roots that helps me see the beauty in simplicity.  Maybe it’s the fact that I also have to live within my means (or below if I really want to be responsible) that keeps my design boundaries within financial reach for just about everybody.  But I just really believe a room can be stylish, comfortable, and reasonable.

Using a designer is a gamble, I’ll give you that.  You give up just a little bit of your control and put it in my hands to form and shape a space that needs to be uniquely yours…one that reflects your style, lifestyle, family and usage.  That’s why I take my job seriously and don’t try to adhere to a magazine-style interior.  If you like a ceiling fan in your room, you’ll have a ceiling fan.  I couldn’t live without mine.  I happen to really like my wood slatted blinds and they serve a real function and no one is going to tell me that I need three layers on my windows, so I’m not going to insist that you do too.  As a matter of fact, half of my house has no window coverings and that’s OK.

In a nutshell, my philosophy is that your home is YOURS and it can be unique, beautiful and affordable.  I would love to help you achieve your goals for your decorating project.
